In a recently published study from Stanford (click here to access the PDF), we learn that our body ages in two main iterations post-puberty:

Around age 44 and age 60.

What does this mean?

Aging is not as gradual as we once thought. Our bodies experience a sort of “burst” in our mid-forties.

As stated in the article, “...the importance of regular exercise, especially lifting weights to keep muscle mass," are crucial to offset these sudden changes.

A healthy diet and exercise are the only truly effective ways to offset the effects of aging.

So we have a choice to make:

  1. Allow our bodies to take this lying down.

  2. Work to keep ourselves youthful and strong and to overcome this turn of the proverbial dial.
