You started off the year with good intentions and tons of MOTIVATION to finally consistently exercise, eat well and lose the fat/gain the muscle…
And to ultimately become more confident in your body.
But now you’ve slowed down on the workouts, started ordering delivery food again, back to drinking several nights a week and lost that good ole motivation…
It’s because motivation is a horrible driver - it’s starting, stopping, all over the road, crashing into things and completely unpredictable…
She’s basically drunk at the wheel.
You’re wondering how there are these guys who lose weight and get more muscle definition in a year, and like…what are they doing!? You think there’s something wrong with you, that you’re lazy or you’ll never be a healthy person (if you believe that, then it’s true).
What you need to get to your body goals and beyond:
1. Accountability - a guide who is looking in on you and looking out for you. Someone to impress, and who encourages you.
2. Structure - a plan that makes sense for your schedule, skill level, age, goals, etc., and that is easy to follow.
3. Expertise - someone who knows your body and your lifestyle. You wouldn’t take your Mercedes in to be repaired by a fishing boat shop.
If you’ve ever had a great professor or mentor who helped you to get a degree or climb the ladder in your career - that’s it!
Or otherwise, if you’ve decided that it’s better to try and do this on your own with self-motivation in the driver’s seat…
